Our Treatment Philosophy
We are Journey Together, PC. Our owner is Dr. Keith Christie, a Clinical Psychologist with nearly 20 years of experience in providing clinical services, education, and supervision. He brings passion for promoting growth and authenticity to help all people become the best version of themselves. We have a company culture focused on meeting the needs of our clients in a safe, supportive, and inclusive therapeutic environment. Each of our therapists has different backgrounds and skills to tackle a wide array of psychological problems in an increasingly diverse population. Although we specialize in Boys and Men’s mental health, we are competent and passionate about helping people of all genders and backgrounds reach their true potential.
As with any journey, the first steps are normally some of the hardest. From your first contact, our professional, compassionate staff will help you feel safe, welcome, valued, and included. We are a place for all people to feel accepted as they are and where they are in their own life’s journey. Because we are a small but growing practice, we will get you scheduled with one of our therapists, usually within a week of your first contact. Your therapist will use their past experiences working with different types of clients to be your guide in identifying your goals and developing a plan to help you reach them. As you gain new insight, awareness, and skills, we continue to provide support and encouragement. We will also facilitate space and time to re-evaluate your goals and ensure continuous growth throughout the process. We will ensure you have a clear understanding of your plan of care and let you be the driver of the direction of your therapy.
Like any journey, the road map is simply a guide which provides clear direction. Life can be unpredictable, therefore, the initial road map must be altered at times. Sometimes it’s a simple detour when some new issue arises and it can be addressed quickly. Other times life may re-route you and you will have to alter your path entirely. We are completely adept at handling these situations and will keep you moving toward your best self. Starting with your first call, we are on this journey together.
Our Team

Keith Christie
Owner, Licensed Psychologist
I have served clients in several states for nearly 2 decades and in many different settings (inpatient, outpatient, community mental health, nursing homes/rehab centers, and residential treatment centers). I am passionate about the work I do and being a part of others’ growth is a privilege.
My diverse experience has enabled me to help with a wide array of presenting issues including severe mental illness; personality disorders; mood and anxiety disorders; relationship and sexual problems; stage of life and end of life issues, as well as chronic pain and illness. I’ve worked with people from 3 years old to 108 from many religious, sexual, and ethnic identities. I’m skilled in both assessment and therapy.
My job as your therapist is to create an environment to help you grow and actively seize opportunities to make different choices and write your own story. I’m careful not to make choices for you, but help you learn to make them for yourself.

LLP, Therapist
We all deserve a chance to understand ourselves and live authentically, and I want to guide you in reaching your potential. It can be scary to talk to someone about your personal thoughts and feelings. It can feel like you are going through challenges alone, or that no one can really understand why you are struggling. We all have our ups and downs, but sometimes it feels like our own issues are so much bigger and harder to handle than everyone else’s. The good news is that you aren’t alone, and if you are open to therapy, you may find you have much more power to make positive changes than you realize.
My goal as a therapist is to work with you to be the best version of yourself. I treat everyone as an individual, which means that our plan together will be specific to your needs. I like to stay open-minded and non-judgmental, and I see you as the expert on your own experiences and feelings. I have treated a wide variety of clients from a diverse range of economic, racial, and religious backgrounds, and I work with adolescents, teens, and adults. I have the most experience with people who have been through trauma, major life changes, severe depression and anxiety, and cognitive challenges or disabilities, but I am ready to address any obstacles you might be facing. I am prepared to use a variety of techniques and therapeutic approaches, all of which start with building a relationship based on trust and understanding.
All journeys begin with the first step, and if you are ready to work towards better mental health, I am ready to take that step with you.

Zico Alame
TLLP, Therapist
My work centers on creating a steady, honest relationship where you can slow down and hear yourself more clearly. I pay attention to how our conversations unfold, the moments where you open up, and the places where things feel tense or complicated. I approach the process by making room for the parts of you that haven’t had a chance to be understood. When the therapeutic relationship feels honest and grounded, people often find their own clarity and direction. I offer a space where you can explore your inner world without pressure or performance. We look at how you relate to yourself, how you carry your emotions, and how your history shows up in the present. The work moves at your pace and stays connected to what matters to you. If you’re looking for something that feels human, thoughtful, and rooted in genuine trust, I’d be glad to work with you.
